Dawn Appler, MEPAP Part 1 Instructor is a Certified Activity Director with a specialization in education and memory care, a Certified Eden
Alternative Associate as well as a Certified Dementia Practitioner .
She is also an authorized certification instructor with the National Certification Council Dementia Practitioners. She is the founder of Dawn on the Horizon,
an education and consulting firm.
Sherita Sparrow MEPAP Part 2 Instructor is a Certified Activity Professional and a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art. She has more than 10
year of experience teaching to children, adults and troubled teens. Sherita is the founder and of The Feather's Touch, LLC, a holistic therapeutic art company.
